First a world-class climber and then a yogi, Olivia Hsu began yoga as part of her curiosity with the art of movement and has maintained a dedicated practice ever since. She underwent in-depth studies of the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition through a traditional apprenticeship several years, and continued her studies with Richard Freeman after moving to Boulder, CO in 2006. Her teachings draw from the knowledge of her own experience as a teacher and as a practitioner, making yoga both accessible and non-intimidating to her students. Olivia’s interest lies in cultivating mindfulness that flows from a focused and continuous asana practice. Her teaching style comprises intuitive hands-on adjustments, energetic alignment, and awakening the internal awareness to the self. Olivia feels blessed for her many wonderful teachers and hopes to cultivate a similar appreciation of yoga for her students.
